Abstract

This study aimed at identify the relationship between Academic adaptation and student/teacher teaching skills in volleyball teaching methods syllabus, predict student’s teaching skills level in volleyball teaching methods syllabus knowing academic adaptation aspects. Descriptive methodology used. Research community is fourth year students - Education section) in the academic year 2017/2018 at Faculty of Physical Education for Girls - Alexandria University. student/teacher teaching skills assessment form (prepared by researcher) and academic adaptation in volleyball scale (prepared by researcher in a previous study). The most important results indicated that there is a statistically significant correlation between teaching skills assessment form aspects: (preparation and planning of the lesson) (presentation and implementation of the lesson) (personal and social characteristics) and academic adaptation aspect. Three equations reached to predict teaching skills level knowing academic adaptation aspects. Researcher recommended to teaching skills assessment form "under study" in assessing student/teacher teaching skills in volleyball lesson and developing they performance, and using the predictive equations reached as an indicator to predict teaching skills level among students of education section in volleyball.
