Abstract

The effect of using self-evaluation on teaching skills and teaching anxiety among students of internal field training at the Faculty of Physical Education

The research aims to identify the effect of self-evaluation by using video to improve executive teaching skills and reduce the level of teaching anxiety among internal field training students at the Faculty of Physical Education, The researcher used the experimental approach to design two groups, one experimental and the other one, by applying the pre and post measurements for each group, The researcher used the form of executive teaching skills observation (researcher preparation) and teaching anxiety scale (researcher preparation), The research was applied to a sample of (35) students in the second year of the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys, Alexandria University in the second semester of the year 2018/2019, They were divided into (15) students for the reconnaissance study, (10) students for the experimental group and (10) students for the control group, Main Results: The experimental group that applied the self-evaluation by using video outperformed the control group that applied the "immediate feedback" method in the executive teaching skills and the level of teaching anxiety exceeded, The most important recommendations: The necessity of using video self-evaluation in developing executive teaching skills and reducing the level of teaching anxiety, among internal field training students in colleges of physical education.
