The research aims to identify the effectiveness of using electronic mind maps strategy on the skill level, cognitive achievement, and emotional impressions towards track and field competitions curriculum for third year physical education female students.
The researchers used the two group’s experimental method; one experimental and the one controlled. The research sample was chosen by the purposive random method from Faculty of Physical Education for Girls, Helwan University, third year students and their number is 197 students with a percentage of (43.87%) from the research community; they are divided into 90 students for the control group, (87) students for the experimental group, 20 students for the pilot study.
The most important results are the presence of statistically significant differences between the mean of the two post measurements of the experimental and control groups in the cognitive achievement level, the skill level and the emotional impressions of the students towards the field and track competitions skills under study in favor of the experimental group.
The researchers recommend using electronic mind maps in teaching other curriculums and for different faculty year’s levels.
