“The Effect of Using 3D Biomechanical Models on Learning the (Piqué Turns) Skill in Ballet”

Abstract:

This research aims to identify the effect of using 3D biomechanical models on learning the (Piqué Turns skill) in ballet. The researchers used the descriptive and experimental method in the research, for both groups controlled and experimental by comparing post –post measurements, the research sample was (102) female students of the third-year level, at Faculty of Physical Education for Girls - Helwan University. Academic year (2020-2021), the teaching program was applied using the proposed three-dimensional biomechanics 3D models, skill and knowledge level of the (Piqué Turns) skill was measured, the program took two weeks with (2) educational units per week. Among the most important results that the use of three-dimensional biomechanical models has a positive effect on learning the (Piqué Turns) skill in ballet, and the researchers recommended the use of the proposed three-dimensional biomechanical models in learning the skill of (Piqué Turns) because of its positive and effective effect over the traditional method.
