Abstract

The effect of using the strategy of Figure (v) map and brainstorming on cognitive achievement and learning some basic handball skills for students of the College of Sports Education
The research aims to identify the effect of using the strategy of the Figure (v) map and brainstorming on cognitive achievement and learning some basic handball skills for the students of the Faculty of Mathematical Education. The students enrolled in the handball course in the summer semester at the Faculty of Sports Education, Menoufia University for the academic year 2019/2020, and the number of (80) students was chosen randomly, and the number of the basic sample reached (40) students, representing 50% of the research communityIn addition, the remaining (40) students from outside the research sample were used to find scientific parameters for the skill tests in question, and the results showed the superiority of the students of the first experimental group that studies using the maps of Figure (v) over the students of the second experimental group that taught using the method of brainstorming. The Figure (v) maps method is more effective than the brainstorming method in terms of level and skills in handball, just as the use of Figure (v) maps method, and ensuring the quality of performance and understanding during the transition from one skill to another, has a positive impact on the students ’understanding at the level. The skill and cognitive achievement in handball, the researcher recommended the adoption of the Map (v) when teaching students in handball.
