Abstract

Psychological Resilience and Its Relationship to Self-concept and Life Satisfaction among Football Coaches

This research aims to try to identify the relationship between psychological resilience, self-concept and life satisfaction. the researcher used the descriptive approach - survey method. the research sample was randomly selected from the research community, which are (92) trainers of a basic sample, The following tools were utilized: (Psychological Resilience Scale - Self Concept Scale - Life Satisfaction Scale). The most important results were: there are high levels of psychological resilience, self-concept and life satisfaction among the research sample. There is a mean direct correlation between the level of self-concept and life satisfaction. There is also a positive and statistically significant correlation between the research variables in general. The results also showed that there are significant differences in psychological resilience, self-concept and life satisfaction, depending on the age variable, in favor of the age sample (from 30-40 years old). As for the place of residence, significant differences appeared in life satisfaction between the three domicile categories, in favor of the trainers category residing in Lower Egypt. There are also significant differences in psychological resilience between the Lower Egypt category and the Greater Cairo category in favor of the trainers residing in Lower Egypt. As for the experience variable, the results showed that there are significant differences in self-concept between the group from 10 years to less than 15 years.
