Abstract

Precautionary procedures for the safe return of swimming after resuming sports activity in light of the Corona pandemic in the Gaza Strip < br />

In 2020, the world was shocked by the spread of the (Covid-19) Corona virus, which killed thousands of people around the world. The World Health Organization has recommended social distancing and discouraging human contact to control transmission. Many countries have been put into complete lockdown, sporting events (including the Tokyo Olympics 2020) have been affected, and all sporting activities worldwide have been suspended.

After the closure of sports activities that lasted for about four months, sport activities gradually returned to practice again, but in light of some precautionary measures adopted by various sports organizations in line with the directions of the World Health Organization.

Through the work of the researcher in the sports field in general and the field of swimming in particular, it was necessary for the return of the practice of swimming to take preventive measures that help preserve the lives of individuals, whether players, coaches or accompanying players.

The sample was chosen from the young players who practice swimming regularly and their number was (40) players.

One of the most important recommendations was that the precautionary measures adopted by sports organizations should be strictly applied to the return of sporting activity ، and cooperation between the World Health Organization and sports organizations to avoid the Corona virus.
