Skill self-esteem and its relationship to technic performance in motor expression of students at Faculty of Education, Department of Childhood - Alexandria University

Studying self-concept and its appreciation is one of the critical topics in psychological life because of its significance in personality growth and advancement, and skill self-esteem is an individual's appreciation of motor skills he possesses related to a sporting activity.
Moor expression is one of educational sciences and an effective mean of proper education and upbringing. This study aims at identify the relationship between skill self-esteem and technic performance in motor expression of students at Faculty of Education, Department of Childhood - Alexandria University. 190 students participated in the main study, While 105 students participates in pilot study.
Researcher designed skill self-esteem in motor expression, and after administrating it on the study sample and conducting statistical analysis, the most important results were finding statistically significant positive correlation between skill self-esteem and technic performance in motor expression, all correlation coefficients were statistically significant at 0.05 level. Among the most important recommendations; movement activities in general and movement expression in particular should be included in Egyptian universities because curricula because of their importance in developing individual’s personality aspects as well as increasing self-confidence, which has a positive impact on individual’s ability to appreciate himself in a positive way
