Abstract

This research aims to "study" the effects of the meta-knowledge strategy through the educational platform and on the level of achievement and the motivation of the academic achievement of some technical gymnastic skills among the female students of the first year of the Faculty of Physical Education. The research sample consisted of two groups, one experimental and the other controlling, each of which consisted of (30) female students. The first was at the College of Physical Education in Alexandria, and the strategy for the experimental group was implemented during the second semester of the academic year 2019/2020 by Two lectures per week over a period of (4) weeks at a time of (45) minutes and the method followed for the control group. The most important conclusions were that the metacognition strategy has a positive effect on improving the level of knowledge and skill acquisition and increasing the academic achievement of the experimental group and the most important recommendations were included: Introducing metacognition skills and their role In teaching in particular and teaching in general, so that there are various approaches that can be used in teaching, curriculum building and teacher preparation
