Social behavior of family deprived athletes and its relationship to achievement motivation

Abstract

The study aims to identify the social behavior of family deprived athletes and its relationship to achievement motivation by identifying the social behavior and achievement motivation of family deprived athletes and their relationship to each other. (163) of the players of group and individual activities in sports clubs and their ages are between (6 years and above 15 years), and the basic study was applied in the period from 7/6/2021- 5/7/2021, and the most important results of the study revealed a difference in the dimensions of the behavior scale The social dimension of the deprived athletes in the family came in the first place, the subjective dimension, with an average of (50.42), then the social dimension in the second place, with an average of (43.63), and in the third and last place was the family dimension, with an average of (28.60), and there is a significant correlation in the value of “t” between social behavior and achievement motivation. The athlete for the deprived athletes in the family, where the correlation was stronger between the family dimension and all axes of the achievement motivation scale than the personal and social dimension.
