Developing the institutional performance of youth centres in light of the European Model of Excellence (EFQM)

Abstract

The study aims to develop the institutional performance of youth centres in the Assiut Governorate in light of the European Model for Excellence in Performance (EFQM). ((11) a city youth centre, (156) a village youth centre), the researcher designed two questionnaires, and the most important results were the level of practice of the institutional performance standards of the European model (EFQM) within the youth centers came medium; Except for the policies and strategies criterion, and the criterion for employee satisfaction “individuals”, its practice was few, the poor level of support provided to workers and the lack of specialized training courses, the lack of qualified cadres to achieve the requirements of institutional excellence, the stagnation of some regulations and regulations that may hinder the efforts of development and advancement towards excellence, and the researcher recommends the necessity of The senior leaders in youth centers adopt the proposed vision with the aim of developing institutional performance in youth centers based on the European model (EFQM), studying and analyzing other international models that adopt the development of institutional performance and based on the idea of excellence in performance to benefit from it in various youth centers in a way that enhances the ability to keep pace with changes and achieve Institutional competitiveness.
