Abstract

Abstract:-

The research aims to know the effect of using cooling as a Recovery method on:

1- Some physiological variables (pulse - creatine kinase enzyme - lactic acid).

2- The level of some stem cells (hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF).

The researcher used the experimental method by using the experimental design for one group using the pre and post measurements method on the players of the first volleyball team in Beni Suef Club, who numbered (18 players), , The research sample included (14 players), with (10 players) for the experimental group, and (4 players) a reconnaissance sample

The most important results were:

1. Physical exertion increased the level of blood stem cells (HSCs) of two types (CD34-CD45) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) of the type (VEGFR2), and also worked to increase all physiological variables (pulse rate - lactic acid - creatine enzyme Kines) to cope with the burden of physical exertion.

2. The use of cooling as a method of recovery positively affected the research variables with different rates of improvement, where an improvement was found in the percentages of hematopoietic stem cells of type (CD34) with an improvement rate of (31.7%), and an improvement in the percentages of hematopoietic stem cells (CD45) with an improvement rate of (11.38%). And an improvement in the percentages of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGFR2) with an improvement rate of (5.03%). (39.02%), and creatine kinase enzyme level improved by (16.65%).
