A survey of physical education students' opinion on the feasibility of e learning in the sports field considering some demographic variables

Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the opinion of the physical education students towards e-learning in the sports field, as well as to identify the significance of the differences in the effectiveness of e-learning in the sports field due to some demographic variables، and to reveal the most academic courses that physical education students benefited during e-learning. In addition, identifying the most important obstacles and problems related to e learning in the sports field. The study was conducted on a random sample using the snowball method through the electronic application of the study tools, on a survey sample of 234 physical education students. The study relied on a survey of the opinion of physical education students about the feasibility of e learning , prepared by the researcher. The study concluded that the average opinion of the respondents towards e-learning was high, as well as the average effectiveness of e-learning was high, and that the only positive item that received a high rating was the item that e-learning allowed the respondents to discover new ways in learning, and there are statistically significant differences between genders in the extent of the effectiveness of e-learning in favor of males, and that there are statistically significant differences due to the variable of the school year in favor of the second year, it also became clear that theoretical courses in the sports field that received a high rating in terms of the importance of e-learning.
