Abstract

The research aimed to identify the effect of an educational program using the Wheatley model in learning some skills on the floor exercise ( side somersault on the hands with 1/4 Turn, front hand spring and the skill of the Back Hand spring) for students of the second year, Faculty of Physical Education for Boys - Zagazig University.
The researcher used the experimental method due to its suitability to the nature of the research. The research sample included (400) students of the third year. (15) students were excluded to conduct the exploratory experiment on them to become the basic research sample (60) students. Among the research tools: - a form for evaluating the performance of the skills in question - the educational program - a form Recording the scores of the physical tests - the test of high intelligence. The researcher used the following statistical treatments: - the arithmetic mean - the standard deviation - the median - the torsion coefficient - the simple correlation coefficient - the "T" test - the percentage improvement equation.
