Abstract

The research aimed to identify the effectiveness of virtual reality technology supported by VR BOX 3D glasses on learning some skills on the floor exercise in gymnastics For the second year students, College of Physical Education for Boys - Zagazig University.

The researcher used the experimental method due to its suitability to the nature of the research, using pre- and post-measurement for two groups, one experimental and the other control. The research community was represented by students in the fourth year (majoring in teaching gymnastics) at the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys, Zagazig University, for the academic year 2023/2024 AD, amounting to (400) students. The research sample was chosen randomly, and its number was (80) students, representing (20%) of the research population. They were divided in to two groups, one experimental and the other control. The Number of each group was (30) students. (20) students were also chosen as a survey sample, in order to calculate the scientific coefficients for the tests used in research.

Among the research tools: - an intelligence test to measure Cattell's working mental ability - an educational program - a form for recording grades for physical tests. The researcher used the following statistical treatments: - arithmetic mean - standard deviation - median - skewness coefficient - simple correlation coefficient (Pearson) - “t” test. - Improvement rates formula %.
