The level of health awareness of primary school students in Fayoum Governorate

Abstract

The research aims to explore the relationship between health awareness among students, and evaluate the level of health awareness of some primary school students in Fayoum Governorate. The research sample included fifth and sixth grade students in the first cycle of basic education at Adwa Primary School, and their number was (102) students, a basic sample in addition to... To (50) students as an exploratory sample from outside the research sample, and one of the most important conclusions was that the level of health awareness of primary school students in Fayoum Governorate, the research sample, was an average level, reaching 78%. The highest level of health awareness in the field of environmental health was 81%, the level of awareness. The health level in the field of infectious diseases is in second place, with a high level of 80%. The level of health awareness in the field of eating habits is in last place, with a low level of 68%. One of the most important recommendations was the need for the school to pay attention to health awareness through school activities, and the need for the Ministry of Health to cooperate. With the Ministry of Education, we hold seminars in schools for the purpose of spreading health awareness for male and female school students, with the aim of spreading health awareness, reducing the spread of diseases and epidemics, and proper nutrition, and conducting such a study at different age levels.
