The research aims to identify the effect of the effectiveness of a rehabilitation program to raise the functional efficiency of the muscles surrounding the knee joint by knowing the extent of changing the level of strength and flexibility of the muscles surrounding the knee joint, and improving the balance of the sample. The researcher used the experimental method using the pre- and post-measurement method for one group. One of the most important conclusions was that the proposed rehabilitation program led to an improvement and increase in the muscle strength of the muscles working on the knee joint affected by osteoarthritis. Also, the proposed rehabilitation program under study had a high impact on positive improvement in the range of motion of the knee joint (extension-contraction), and the presence of percentages Improvement according to the pre- and post-study measurements in favor of the post-test in all the physical variables under study, which confirms the appropriateness of the exercises for each stage of the program, as it led to strengthening the working muscles of the knee joint. Among the most important recommendations is the necessity of rapid early examination of the knee for those affected, especially the elderly. And taking conservative, therapeutic and rehabilitative measures to limit the development of the injury, taking advantage of the program’s procedures and means in working on designing other rehabilitative programs on scientific foundations to work on rehabilitating injuries to other joints of the body’s joints and in various different areas of life.
