Abstract

This research aims to identify the impact of a proposed training program on the physical variables and the digital level for 100m sprint athletics with an II1 classification for intellectual disabilities to participate in the 2027 World Games in Egypt. The sample was (6) 100m runners who achieved the best numerical level of category II1 for intellectual disabilities. Their IQ ranged from 55 to 70 degrees, and their age was between 23 and 30 years. They were registered with the EFID for the year 2023-2024. The measurement of the digital level of the 100m sprint race was applied on Monday, 7/3/2023, to the research sample at the Al-Nasr Sports Club track in Cairo. The physical tests were applied on Tuesday and Wednesday, corresponding to 4 & 5/7/2023. The proposed three-month training program was implemented, starting from 7/7/2023 to 10/6/2023 for 12 weeks, with 3 training units on days (Monday,Wednesday,Friday), so the total number of training units was 40 training units. The most important results indicated that the proposed program had a positive impact on the digital level of the research sample, as the percentage of improvement between the average of the pre- and post-measurements at the digital level reached (6.8%).
