The effectiveness of the virtual classroom system in teaching school sports program courses from the point of view of faculty members under the credit hour system

Abstract

This research aims to identify "the effectiveness of the virtual classroom system in learning some school sports program courses from the point of view of faculty members under the credit hour system". The descriptive approach was used in the survey method because it is appropriate for the nature of the research. The research sample was chosen in the intentional random way from faculty members in the faculties of physical education in the Arab Republic of Egypt (boys - girls) for eight universities representing the eastern and central Delta sector. The sample size was (136) members. The most important results of the study: the response and interaction of faculty members in faculties of physical education to everything new and useful in the field of educational technology and support for the effectiveness of using virtual classrooms to serve and facilitate the educational process for teaching courses for students in the school sports department in faculties of physical education under study. In light of the research results and the conclusions reached, the researcher recommends starting to expand the scope of distance education with the virtual classroom system in all faculties and higher education programs in light of the responses of faculty members to this type of education, as well as faculties of physical education holding training courses for faculty members to raise their awareness of the methods of applying the virtual classroom system in teaching and encouraging them to employ technology. Good for school sports students.
