Effect of using a generative learning strategy on the level of skill performance and cognitive achievement of the snatch in weightlifting

Abstract

The research aims to identify the effect of an educational program using the generative learning strategy on the level of skill performance and cognitive achievement of the snatch lift in weightlifting for students of the College of Physical Education for Boys, Zagazig University. To achieve the goal of the research, the researcher used the experimental approach through an experimental design that relies on pre- and post-measurements for two groups, one of which is Experimental and the second control, and the research sample consisted of students in the first year at the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys, Zagazig University, 2022/2023 AD.The research sample was chosen intentionally and randomly from the research community. The research sample amounted to (70) students. They were divided into two groups, an experimental group and a control group. Each group consisted of (25) students
the research resulted in reaching the following results: The experimental group was superior to the control group in the level of skill performance and cognitive achievement for lifting the snatch. search.
