Introduction & Research problem:

The current research aims to develop a cognitive achievement test

for some gymnastics skills for sixth-grade female students. The researcher

used the descriptive method with a survey study approach due to its

suitability for achieving the research objective and its appropriateness for the

nature of the procedures. The research population included sixth-grade

female students, totaling 126 students at the school. The research sample

was intentionally selected, consisting of 20 female students, representing

15.87% of the students from the Victoria College School in Cairo, for the

first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The main data collection

tools included true/false questions and multiple-choice questions to measure

the cognitive level of some gymnastics skills for the female students. The

test time was determined to be 10 minutes, with only one correct answer to

be selected, ensuring no contradictions and that the questions have a single,

clear meaning. One of the key findings was that the cognitive achievement

test is valid for use with sixth-grade female students for some gymnastics

skills.
