Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of (timing and coordination training) using augmented reality technology on the performance level of breaststroke swimming among female students of the Faculty of Physical Education. The researcher used the experimental method using two groups, one experimental and the other control, using the (pre-post) design, as it is suitable for the nature of this research. The research was applied to a sample of third-year students. The research sample was chosen intentionally from third-year students, numbering (40) students, divided into a basic research sample of (30) students, divided into two equal experimental and control groups, each consisting of (15) students. The program was implemented using the (UNITY) application for timing and coordination in breaststroke swimming for (2) weeks at a rate of (4) lessons (2) lessons per week. The most important results of the research showed statistically significant differences between the mean of the post-measurements of the control and experimental groups in the skill variable (timing and coordination in breaststroke swimming) in favor of the experimental group in the post-measurement, indicating the superiority of the experimental group over the control group in the post-measurement of timing and coordination in breaststroke swimming.
