Abstract

The research aims to design a proposed cognitive test for the cognitive aspects of the swimming course for second-year female students at the Faculty of Physical Education for Girls - Helwan University. The researcher used the descriptive approach with the survey method to suit the nature of the research. The research community included 350 female students, and the research sample was selected and included 60 female students, representing 17.14% of the community. The researcher designed a test to measure cognitive achievement, according to the scientific foundations of constructing cognitive tests. The test showed high results in validity and reliability according to statistical standards. The study also recommends using this cognitive test as a tool that can be used to evaluate female students, which works to and contributes to raising the efficiency and effectiveness of academic performance evaluation. It also sheds light on the importance of cognitive evaluation In improving the quality of education in the field of swimming.
