The effect of a program using PowerPoint presentations on cognitive achievement and learning some arbitration Signals in taekwondo

Abstract

The research aims to design a program using PowerPoint presentations for students specializing in the fourth year of Taekwondo of the Faculty of Physical Education for girls, Zagazig University, knowing its impact on achieving knowledge, and knowing some of the arbitration marks in taekwondo and their learning and their number (28 signal in arbitration), The researcher used the experimental method for two groups (control-experimental). The sample included students. (43) students, and they were divided into (14 students for the experimental group), (14 students for the control group), and (15 students for exploratory study), The most important results indicated that the educational program that used power-point presentations had a positive effect on cognitive achievement, the level of performance of arbitration signals in taekwondo under study for students of the experimental group, and the traditional method had a positive impact on cognitive achievement, and the level of performance of arbitration signals in taekwondo for students of the control group, However, the experimental group that used PowerPoint presentations outperformed the control group that used the traditional method in both cognitive achievement and the level of performance of arbitration signs in taekwondo) indicating that it was more effective and positive than the method Traditional collar, The researcher recommended the need to use PowerPoint presentations in teaching taekwondo , and the need to take advantage of the results of the current study and conduct a similar study using PowerPoint presentations, and know its impact on the level of skill performance in various sports activities.
