The effectiveness of using the " Gagne educational model" in cognitive achievement and learning of some volleyball skills in physical education studying for middle school pupils

Abstract

The research aims to identify the effect of using the " Gagne " educational model in achieving basic skills of knowledge and learning, (Sending from below, scrolling from the bottom, scrolling from the top, overwhelming hitting) in volleyball physical education lesson for middle school students, The researcher used the experimental approach to design two groups, one experimental and the other control one, by applying the pre and post measurements for each group, The researcher used the physical , skillful and the cognitive achievement tests for skills under investigation, The research was applied to a sample of (64) middle school preparatory students at the "Mahmoud Abbas Al-Ati" prep school in El Montazh educational administration, Alexandria Governorate, They were divided into (16) students for the exploratory study, (24) students for the experimental group and (24) students for the control group,The most important results: The experimental group that used the “Janet” educational model was outperformed the control group that used the “explanation and presentation” method in cognitive achievement and some basics skills in volleyball, recommendations: The necessity of using the "Janet" model in learning volleyball skills (sending - scrolling from below - scrolling from top to front - crushing hitting).
